I want to help others benefit from the experiences I have gained over the years through some incredible opportunities. I have always gotten involved in helping young people map out their future, helping them select schools, majors, and job opportunities. I have taken an interest in helping people look at all of their options before making important decisions, whether it was at work or in life.
Education
Loloya University - Chicago | Bachelor of Business Administration
Colorado State University | Master of Science - Finance
Additional Training

Paid Position
Vice President of Sales and Marketing 11/1992 to 11/1997
Electronic Metal Products, Aurora, CO
The big project that I am most proud of occurred in the first year when I had to take a $7 million company that was losing over $1.5 million annually and in Chapter 7 bankruptcy and convince our major customers, Fotune 100 companies, to stick with us and also get them to accept price increases on everything we built for them. We lost some contracts, but six months later the loses stopped. We broke even for the first time in several years, then continued to be profitable every year after that, ultimately selling the company for $16 million to a larger company.
Extra-Curricular/Volunteer Activities
I have played many sports competitively and attended college on a footbal scholarship. I have spent 15 years coaching youth team sports such as soccer, baseball and basketball. I have taught religion classes to young newly wed couples at my church. I have been involved in many fund raising activities for charities.
Work Related Strengths
I have excellent vision regarding a company and its challenges. I can see the big picture and help to develop a strategy to succeed and reach the owner's goals. I am creative in my approach to things, coming up with new ideas, product changes, marketing ideas. I am a good fair manager, helping to develop a team united around a common goal. I know how to get in the trenches and do the day to day little things that need to be done and to set examples for other workers on the team. I love learning new things. I go into many situations not knowing much about the specifics of the business or industry. I learn how to become proficient by working with the company and industry experts. I have no problem saying, I don't understand this can you help me out? Learning new things is one of the things I like best about working with others.
Rewards, Recognition, or Accolades
I don't really consider that I have received that many awards. I was very proud of earning a full football scholarship to New Mexico University.
Research and Publications
I have had some articles published in trade publications, like Cable TV News, Production magazine, CME(another cable magazine). These articles were what we considered outreach informational articles designed to attract credibility to what ever organization I was working with at the time.
Professional Accomplishments
I have had some tremendous experiences. I led a group of multi-disciplined professionals in a search for acquisition opportunities for a $1 billion company. I found a great deal and was instrumental in negotiating a purchase of a company with great technology related to then existing business lines. It resulted in earnings of 10X the purchase price within 3 years. I was then given the opportunity to start up a new company within the parent company. I left that company to consult and help failing small manufacturers. I ended up joining one of those bankrupt companies and in 5 years turning it around and selling it for $16 million. I was 1 of 4 founders of a computer software company that worked with major Fortune 100 companies in joint ventures selling product and data to automotive dealers all over the country. I was founder and president of a computer-based gaming company that developed and manufactured state-of-the-art kiosks to many industries. I have raised millions of dollars of debt and equity capital. In one case I was consulting to a struggling automotive supplier that was on the verge of collapse due to poor capitalization. I was able to get them a government loan from the Federal Economic Development Agency just in time to avoid bankruptcy. Interest rates were 23% at the time and we only had to pay 14%. The company went on to be the first company ever to pay their loan back in full (only 2 years later). That company has gone on to be a $100+million tier one automotive supplier.
Personality Strengths
I look at the big picture and take an organized approach to projects and assignments. Math and working with numbers comes easily to me. I am strong-willed, driven, persistent, easy to get along with, kind, caring, always willing to help others, positive, upbeat, passionate, a dreamer.
